AI Zodiac Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developers and operators of AI Zodiac ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the AI Zodiac mobile application, the website located at https://aizodiac.life/, and any associated serverless backend services (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue using the Services immediately.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

The Services are intended solely for individuals who are at least 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in the European Economic Area or where applicable local law requires parental consent). By using AI Zodiac, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Services & Architecture

AI Zodiac provides personalized astrological interpretations, natal chart calculations, daily and personal horoscopes, Chinese zodiac insights, numerology readings, love compatibility analysis, personal astrological calendars, and interactive celestial queries ("Ask the Stars" / "Ask AI").

The application operates on a decentralized, privacy-first model:

• Local Device Storage: Your personal profile and birth parameters are stored exclusively on your Android device (using private SharedPreferences). No cloud user account, username, or password is required or stored.
• Backend Computation: When you generate a horoscope or reading, your query parameters are processed in real time by the AI Zodiac backend and cached transiently for performance and operational rate limiting.

4. Nature of Content & Astrological Disclaimers

Astrological interpretations and AI-generated outputs do not constitute professional, medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice. You should never rely on astrological insights as a substitute for professional counsel. You remain solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take.

5. Intellectual Property Rights & Limited License

All right, title, and interest in and to the AI Zodiac mobile application, website, logos, designs, source code, astrological synthesis logic, graphic assets, and text content are the intellectual property of AI Zodiac and its licensors.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the AI Zodiac application on your personal Android device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Prohibited Activities

When using AI Zodiac, you agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the mobile app or backend APIs.
• Access, tamper with, or scrape the backend APIs or caching infrastructure through automated scripts, bots, spiders, or unauthorized software.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security controls, rate limits, token budgets, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purpose.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content generated by the Services without express written consent.

7. Artificial Intelligence Inference & External Providers

AI Zodiac utilizes state-of-the-art artificial intelligence models provided by Google Gemini and Groq to synthesize natural-language astrological readings. Due to the probabilistic nature of machine learning, generated content may occasionally contain creative interpretations, variations, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any AI-generated response.

8. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The AI Zodiac mobile application is distributed via the Google Play Store and displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Your interactions with Google Play and Google AdMob are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

The AI Zodiac website does not host third-party advertisements or affiliate referral links.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AI ZODIAC, ITS DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, OR ANY ASSOCIATED CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON ASTROLOGICAL READINGS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. When modifications occur, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated. Your continued use of AI Zodiac following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
