2. Local Device Storage (No Cloud User Accounts)

AI Zodiac is designed with a decentralized, local-first storage architecture:

• Local Profile Storage: Birth and profile details entered in the application (such as your name or full name, gender, birth date, birth time, birth city, birth country, timezone, and calculated Western/Chinese zodiac signs) are saved exclusively on your Android device using private SharedPreferences storage.
• No Cloud User Accounts: The app does not require account creation, logins, passwords, or a persistent cloud database for user profiles.
• Local Data Control: You can edit or delete your profile information at any time directly in the app's Profile section, or remove all stored data by clearing app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the application.

3. Information Transmitted for AI-Powered Astrology Features

When you actively request horoscope interpretations or interactive astrological calculations (such as Daily Horoscope, Personal Horoscope, Ascendant Calculation, Chinese Horoscope, Numerology, Love Compatibility, Personal Astro Calendar, or Ask the Stars), the application transmits necessary query inputs over secure HTTPS to the AI Zodiac backend.

Depending on the specific feature you select, the transmitted information may include:

• Birth & Astrological Parameters: Birth date, birth time (or default time if marked unknown), birth city, birth country, timezone, and zodiac signs.
• Identity & Profile Inputs: Name or full name (if provided) and gender.
• Feature-Specific Queries: Partner birth information (for love compatibility analysis, if entered), specific questions (for Ask the Stars), focus areas, calculation time periods (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or lifetime), and your chosen app language.

4. AI Processing & Backend Infrastructure

To generate personalized astrological readings, the backend processes incoming calculation requests using reputable artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure providers:

• AI Inference: Google Gemini and Groq AI APIs (for generating natural-language astrological interpretations and calculations).
• Backend Caching & Rate Limiting: High-performance serverless Redis caching is utilized as backend infrastructure for operational rate limiting, abuse prevention, budget controls, and temporary caching of generated horoscope content to ensure fast response times and service stability. Backend infrastructure is not contacted directly by the mobile app.

5. Advertising – Google AdMob

AI Zodiac displays advertisements using Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC.

To serve banner and interstitial advertisements, prevent ad fraud, ensure security, and provide ad measurement, Google AdMob and its SDK may automatically collect and process certain device and usage information, including:

• Device identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID (AAID) where available.
• IP address and general network connection details.
• Ad interaction, viewability, click, and impression data.
• Diagnostic and technical performance data related to ad serving.

6. Analytics & Tracking SDK Disclosures

The AI Zodiac mobile application itself does not integrate standalone analytics, crash tracking, or behavioral profiling SDKs such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase App Check, Facebook/Meta SDK, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Segment.

Advertising-related data processing is conducted independently by Google AdMob as described in Section 5.

7. Data Retention

• On-Device Profile Data: Profile data remains in local storage on your device until you edit or remove it within the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
• Backend State: The backend does not maintain persistent user account databases. Ephemeral cache and rate-limiting entries expire automatically based on standard TTL configurations.

8. Data Security

All communications between the mobile application and backend services are encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS / TLS (Transport Layer Security). We enforce fail-closed security controls and minimize server-side data retention to protect against unauthorized access.

9. User Rights & Data Control

You have direct control over your information within AI Zodiac:

• You can update, modify, or delete your birth information at any time directly in the app's Profile section.
• You can reset or manage advertising identifiers and ad personalization through your Android device settings (under Google > Ads).
• You can delete all locally stored app data at any time through Android Settings > Apps > AI Zodiac > Storage > Clear Storage, or by uninstalling the app.

10. Children's Privacy

AI Zodiac is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to the application, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

11. Cookies & Tracking on This Webpage

This website provides informational content, astrology tools, and official app documentation. Web analytics are configured solely for privacy-conscious aggregated traffic measurement and do not track personal user identities or sell personal data.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in application features or legal requirements. When updates occur, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated.
